DJ, producer and provider of soundscapes for clubs, brands, private parties and events. His ability to mix up-front new releases, combined with dance floor fillers, and retro beats has led to him becoming the in-demand DJ for exclusive parties and events for luxury businesses and high worth individuals. Dick has been selecting the soundtrack for the Superdry in store experience for many years and DJ’d throughout the world, from classic venues like The London Astoria to Innocence Fruitstock Festival, was a resident DJ for the Fez Club Group and has worked alongside International DJ’s including Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah and Judge Jules.
His most recent project, mixing the first Superdry album, has been a project of passion pulling in many musical styles and genres, curated from his years of spinning for Superdry events.
This summer will see the Audio 1 tour kick off in Ibiza and will then visit major cities in the UK before heading to Europe. You can catch special performances at many of the Superdry stores, please see our Facebook page for details as we add stores and dates.
Superdry Audio 1, the album, will launch on June 16th 2017. Compiled by dick using unreleased tracks, straight up classics and remixes, the album provides the listener with a unique sound experience.
The tracks take you on a retrospective musical journey into the future sound of the beats and melodies of the Superdry lifestyle. Each track has been carefully selected to capture the essence of the Superdry brand that fuses vintage Americana and Japanese-inspired graphics with a British style; an attitude that has gained exclusive global appeal and an international celebrity following.
How did the album come about?
Music is always very key to enhance and complement the customer’s experience when they visit a Superdry store and therefore venturing into the music arena to offer a unique Superdry soundtrack was a natural progression.
